Here are my cakes with fondant and fondant decorations. I really like learning how to make the flowers and work with the fondant. It's actually a little like playing with play dough, and who doesn't love that?
here is the cake with cookies I designed to coordinate with it.
The cookies are decorated with both royal icing and fondant. I wasn't sure if I would like the fondant on the cookies but it tasted great. Very similar to other icings actually and you can do some really neat effects with it like the flower impressions put into the blue fondant on these cookies.
My Little Pony birthday cake. She asked for a purple flower pony rainbow cake, so that's what she got :)
